Here are a few of our most F.A.Q's about groups:

How many people can you have in a group?

We take groups of 10 people.  Groups of 12 can be catered for if there is a combination of singles and couples.

What do I need to pay in advance to secure the group?

We can hold a departure date for you for 7 days while you check everyone's availability.  Then we just require each person to pay their deposit of A$350.00 to secure their place with the final balance due 60 days from departure.

Group Discounts:

bothfeet extends a 5% discount to groups of 4-9 people travelling together.  Groups of 10-12 enjoy a 10% discount and an exclusive departure.  This discount isn't combinable with other discounts such as low season or winter rates.

In some circumstances the discount may be replaced with a tour escort.  Contact us for more details.

How many days do you recommend?

Our most popular group itineraries are 4 or 6 Day Guided Great Ocean Walk.  Time available and walking abilities will determine how many days you join us for.  Most of our group walkers like to say they "did it all".  Other durations can be arranged.  See our Walk & Stay packages for some suggestions.

Can we self guide if we take a whole group?

bothfeet lodge regularly welcomes groups of self guided walkers.  If you have a group of 10 and are confident bushwalkers, we are happy for you to forgo our guide.  You're welcome to join us for 2nights upto 5 or 6 nights to complete the whole journey.  We still include all meals and daily walk transfers as part of the tariff.  We are a popular base for people staying 5 nights and doing the whole walk end to end.  We can also arrange transfers from Melbourne if needed.
