Whether you choose to put a toe on the trail for just two days or go the whole hog and hike it all, we take care of the details so you just enjoy the journey.
Walk & Stay at the bothfeet walking lodge:
Privately owned and operated the bothfeet walking lodge is exclusively for our use.Opened in December 2008, Australia’s first purpose built walking lodge is not only sustainable, but includes lots of cool niceties customised for those who like their journeys slow. The native rainforest amphitheatre cradles our 10 guest eco-lodge set just 1.2km back from Johanna Beach, the mid point of the Great Ocean Walk trail. THE GREAT OCEAN WALK
Described in 2008 as one of the “unforgettable walks to do before you die” by writers Steve Watkins and Clare Jones, the bothfeet walking lodge makes a great walk, simply the Greatest. The trail is 104km long stretching from ApolloBay in the East to the Twelve Apostles in the west and offers day hikes of around 15km.Graded overall as moderate, the track ranges in elevation from sea level to cliffs of nearly 300 metres high.Trail heads allow vehicle access every 15 – 20km, with our emergency 4WD on stand by for remoter access.End to End, we cover the walk in 6 days. With bothfeet, hikers carry only a day pack and are well supported with a guide on the trail and vehicle support nearby.
